Daniel Rojas Roa
Daniel Rojas Roa is a Colombian photographer, in his photographs he relates art and technology, two subjects that he is passionate about. He studied computer and systems engineering, emphasized electronic media and the arts of time and graphic computing at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. His photographs have participated in international competitions such as LAF3 in New York, Casa Cano, El Antidoto, Casa Santamaria, Schaller, BURO Fair and Barcú where he presented a photograph of 1.46 meters from Bogotá. He is currently making large-format photographs, using gigantography techniques, generally capturing landscapes.
The desire to articulate photography with technology comes from its interest to surprise, entertain and show the public through its facets unknown images of the places we frequent in everyday life. The panoramas and 360-degree photographs of Daniel give us another vision of Colombia and the world.
