Juan Carlos Amaya

Amaya takes his first steps as an artists in his childhood with a world-wide prize in a contest that took place in his student classrooms. After a period in the business world, he reconnected with art in the year of 2012, driven by the need to express his feelings, his love for art and for the characters that marked his life.

He has a desire to show the world through art the multiplicity of ideas that flowed from an unavoidable source of inspiration. Images, faces and pixelated landscapes that always come to mind at the beginning of the morning, like a waterfall of great strength that breaks away in a thousand colors. His constructions play with your mind using the colored cubes forming images that become increasingly defined with distance to become the perfect portrait.
